We built this low-power, wall-mounted infrared heater around radiant warmth—heat that travels straight to people and objects, not the air around them. Inside, a high-efficiency carbon fiber element and quartz tube deliver short-wave infrared heat, so you get fast response and even coverage. It runs on standard 220–240 V with a low draw, so it won’t trip a typical basement circuit. A built-in thermostat keeps the temperature steady, and tip-over protection shuts things down if the unit gets bumped out of place. The sealed housing carries an IP rating for damp conditions, and the slim profile mounts clean on most walls.
Why it fits the basement gym
In a basement, radiant heat cuts through the cold the moment it starts.
